Is it difficult to set-up?
Set-up shouldn't take more than a few minutes. You will be asked to choose team colors, a web site design template, and to upload your team logo. The web site is then activated and online live. You can then access your "Coaches Control Center" and utilize all of the tools to keep your Hockey-Team web site up to date.
Do I need to know HTML or any other programming?
You don't have to know any HTML or any other programming language. Simply log in to your Control Center and add, edit, or delete in any of the full suite of coaches tools.
How much will it cost me every year?
We are committing ourselves to help amateur hockey-team the best we can. Therefore should you chose to sign-up with us, the yearly amount to renew your hockey-team for a full year will NEVER increase. Right, if you sign with us for a full year and you decide to renew your web site for another full year, your sign-up price will not go up. It will remain exactly the same price you initially paid for your set-up. So therefore you can rest assure that once signed, you have secure your price for as long as you will own your web site.
How much time will it take for my web site to be fully active?
This is a hard one. We usually get everything up and running within 24 hours of you signing-up a team with us. Although, you have to keep in mind, that we do have to rely on external source for domain registration and this process is outside of our control. So far with the volume we give our supplier, we do have a very good relation with them and therefore the service we get from them is very rapid. A full domain registration process is usually done and completed within few hours. Everything else is internally taken care off and therefore very rapid. Note: You do get your username and password in the main time, and you can already start populating your database with all the information, pictures and everything else you want.
Is it difficult to maintain?
Actually very easy. Once you have set-up and entered team information your Hockey-Team web site you will only require Game Stats to be entered, Player Profiles, and Game Summaries will all automatically be updated. Photo Galleries and other pages may be updated as you choose. You may also designate someone else to enter game stats or other administration tasks. You decide the web address of your hockey team yourself. You have the choice between private or public. Private will be hosted under this web site "Hockey-team.com" and therefore have a web address such as "www.hockey-team.com/sunnyview-cyclones" therefore rendering your site totally silent to any web search engine. This way you can decide who will have access to your web site by giving this link to your friends or family only. Or you can decide to go public and therefore create your own hockey team domain such as "www.sunnyview-cyclones.com" This choice is left to your entire decision.
We don't want to show our players stats, can we hide the stats page or any of our other web site pages?
No problem, simply go to your coaches control panel and under the preferences tab you can check off and hide any pages you like except the home page.
What is included with my Hockey Team web site?
You get free hosting, free domain registration, and a full range of time saving and informative administration tools to update and showcase your team and player statistics. Please see the list on the right side of our home page.
Can I include our sponsor(s) ?
With the sponsor page you can add 1 primary sponsor which includes their logo, a text description, and link to their web site. Your sponsor page also includes 2 secondary sponsors, which includes a text listing of the company name and a link to their web site. This is a great feature for including your sponsor(s) who may wish to pay for your Hockey Team web site fees.
